Yes — no subscription fee or upfront cost. Blue Hammer operates on commission: a small percentage of each completed job. No job, no fee. Founding contractors enjoy 0% fees for their first 2 months on the platform.
The exact rate will be confirmed and communicated to all providers before the platform goes live. We are committed to a fair, transparent and competitive structure. All active contractors will be informed in advance of launch.
This cannot happen. When a customer accepts your quote, they pay immediately and funds are held in escrow before you start any work. You will not begin a job without payment already secured in the system.
Our admin team reviews all evidence — your completion photos, job summary, chat history and the original quotation. This is why uploading evidence matters. Our team mediates fairly and makes a decision to protect both parties.
Our team targets 24 hours from submission, with a hard limit of 48 hours. You'll receive an email and notification with the outcome. If we need anything extra, we'll tell you exactly what's required to get approved quickly.
Yes. You can pause your availability any time in the app. Block specific dates, adjust working hours and update your working radius whenever you need to — full control is yours.
Public liability insurance is strongly recommended but not mandatory for approval. If you submit your certificate, a PLI Insured trust badge is added to your profile — which increases customer confidence and your booking rate.
